It seems like it has been an eternity since Solid Snake died trying to stop Liquid Ocelot's plan. The aftermath proved disastrous for the world as in the attempt to wipe out the Patriots and complete Big Boss's vision of the world, nations were obliterated in a wave of nuclear hellfire, bringing a new age to the world. An important package has been stolen from a courier left to die out by Goodspring, leaving its protector, Wayne, to figure out what was stolen and find the man that shot the Courier. But leaving Goodsprings will mean confronting the past he sought desperately to leave behind. He just might uncover more of the past than he expected.
