Summary
Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a normal girl with a normal life, or so she has believed her whole life. But when a genuine supervillain emerges to threaten the people she loves, she finds herself thrust into a game of gods and monsters that has been going on since long before her time.

Summary
It all started when Ladybug and Chat Noir found the location of Hawk moth. They had a plan and a good one at that…but something went wrong.
Ladybug was killed.
Hawk moth stole her miraculous and disappeared without a trace.
Without Ladybug there was no way to cure the akumantized, to repair the damage they caused. Chat tried to stop them but it wasn’t long before Paris turned on him, desperate to get Hawk moth to stop.
Maybe it was too much, to lose his lady then the trust of his people. Chat vanished one night never to return, he gave up the power of destruction.
A year later a new Chat Noir appeared…but he is nothing like the old. He began to hunt the akuma and end their terror permanently. Lately he has been displaying the bodies, using their blood to taunt Hawk moth. Without creation he is unbalanced, losing sense of himself.
He calls himself Nacht Katze.

Her thought to be unattainable goal was now attainable.

This is my way of fixing the mess that is Miraculous Ladybug and giving Adrien healthier relationships and emotional growth because I hate how the show was made even though the premise was interesting.
WARNING: This is a very slow burn, and updates WILL be sporadic. Also, I do not own Miraculous Ladybug or any of the characters from it! However, I DO own this story and I absolutely DO NOT give permission for this to be published anywhere that I do not post this myself!

Series re-write! Season 6 spoilers!
No one knows anyone else's secret identity except Marinette who knows everyone's except Chat Noir's. Marinette is the guardian, Monarch was defeated, Cerise has the butterfly miraculous. Chloe was grounded and moved to London. Sabrina, Ondine, Sublime, Socqueline, and Fei Wu are adopted into the friendship circle.
WARNING: Some characters are slightly out of character, especially Cerise. Since Season 6 is still airing and I have zero patience, I am changing things how I see fit. Chloe's getting a redemption arc, ships are getting canonized, and things are getting 18+ now that the cast is all 18 (in this fic). Full summary inside, first chapter is a notation of all the things changed in the story, the second chapter will be the prologue and the third chapter will technically be the first chapter.
They open a lounge cafe for the heroes to hide out at and gather. Ladybug decides to build an army of miraculers to fight off the mysterious new butterfly holder, unfortunately for her, the enemy has the exact same plan. World peace is coming, but not the peaceful way.

Violence and slight gore. There will also be one permanent character death, two if you count undead. The Hellsing universe won't be a big part in my story, only one character will have any real relavance to this story and the universe I'm using is the abridged.
The present world has been reset numerous times in the past in order for members of the Guardian Order to destroy a creature that they believed should not exist, a creature that Gimmi refused to let anyone interfere with as he was not only paying penance for his sins, but was Gimmi's chosen. After finally realizing this, the Order reluctantly decided to try and create a shaky treaty with this creature.
Still, the world burned because of a madman. The creature swallowed his pride and begged Gimmi to reset the world where those he cared for found peace. Now in present time, Lila caused the near akumitazation of Marinette waking up something deep inside. Something that got a piece of Hawkmoth and learned his secrets.
A month later the class is treated to a month as visitors to Gotham Academy to celebrate Hawkmoth's defeat, and allow them time to heal. Of course Batman and his need to know everything may have had something to with it as well.
