Bruce had made him believe a ridiculous story from the future for his 16th birthday. Jason can be more convincing than this. It's an insult to Tim’s intelligence really.

“You-!” the human slime is cut off by a hand around the back of his neck. Jason’s singular guard pulls said slime to his feet and hauls him out of the room, throwing him unceremoniously outside.
“Dismissed,” Jason says.
The table is cleared in a moment, the others all walking over the slime to get away.
Jason waits a minute, “I had that handled.”
“He needed a reminder.”
