In the meantime, the fillings can be prepared (things like simmered kombu, salted salmon, seasoned bonito flakes), and then finally comes the shaping. An experienced cook can do two or sometimes even three onigiri in a minute, depending on what the filling is and how fancy they want to make them look—rolled in things like sesame seeds or furikake before being wrapped with nori and served.
Right now, the timer has just gone off on the rice cooker, which means Sanji still has about fifteen to twenty minutes left before he’s done—a length of time in which Zoro is fairly certain that he’s going to lose his goddamn mind.
