"What did you make?" Eijirou asks as the excited five-year-old roots around her backpack.
She makes a pleased sound, finding whatever it is, and turns around with her arms tucked behind her back.
"Close your eyes!" Kiko commands.
He and Katsuki trade a look before closing their eyes.
"No peaks! ...But put your hands out."
Both of them put a hand out only for something rough and feather-light to be placed there. Given the green light to look, they inspect the objects. Both of them have a paper mâché heart, finger painted in homage to their respective hero costumes. Kiko's face and ears are tinted pink, rocking back and forth on her feet nervously.
"Do you like it?" She asks shyly.
Eijirou can't get a word in edgewise before Katsuki does.
"It's my favorite heart I own."

And then I pulled away and had to turn and leave the small apartment, and I felt like an outsider once again. Like someone intruding, looking in as opposed to being a part of. It seemed to crash down on me as I walked down the street to where I’d been forced to park my car. I felt alone, again.
Loneliness was an old friend from middle school that seemed to creep back in when high school ended. She’s only absent for minutes at a time while laughing with friends, but she always comes back, reminding me that I’ve got walls and that I’m not allowed to take them down.
I’d try and make this work, though. If not for me then for Izuku and Katsuki.

He will never be a father to the baby girl that’s always appearing in his dreams, causing him to wake up in a pool of his own tears. He’ll never get to go shopping for baby clothes that say cute little phrases like “daddy’s sweet girl” and “I get my attitude from my Papa”. Katsuki Bakugou is a part of a prestigious Viking clan in the southern regions; he can finally bring an end to this insufferable war that the dragons had brought upon them. He’ll kill every last dragon if it means that they can live in a peaceful world like before.
Eijirou Kirishima is a dragon prince of the southern mountains; if the war between the humans wasn’t enough, the war between Night-stalkers was definitely tiring. Dragons are going extinct quicker than they can reproduce. Kirishima wants to stop it, even if he’ll die in the process.
Can the viking stop the dragons from bringing internal damnation? Can the dragon prince keep the wars at bay until he figures out a way to restore peace?
