“Good news- I can definitely see ghosts.” Izuku weakly explained. “Bad news- I might’ve underestimated how pissed off the ghost is.”
“You don’t say?” Katsuki couldn’t see the ghost, but he could see Izuku staring at a fixed spot as well and how the peeling wall paper started shuddering as the heavy feeling grew. “You’re the one who researched- how the fuck do we fight it?”
“I-”
The door slammed open again, blasting the ghost woman toward them. Izuku grabbed Katsuki’s arm in a tight grip, partly to make sure he stayed inside the salt circle and partly to keep himself from reeling back outside the circle himself.
Izuku hadn’t needed to know that her skin was more translucent than the bones he could see through it. Just as scary was the newest person to come to the party- a man in all black, whose equally dark hair whipped even more ferociously.
Through the ghost, Izuku saw the man’s eyes burn an even brighter, angrier red. Then he lost track of the plot what the ghost shrieked with a level of vitriol that had him doubled over in pain. When he could look up again, the ghost woman was gone.
The ghost man- now armed with a scythe- still remained.

Izuku Midoriya is now a seasoned teacher at U.A. High, celebrated for his heroism but secretly haunted by the remnants of All For One. Though AFO is long dead, Izuku suffers vivid hallucinations that are his manifestations of survivors guilt, trauma, and unresolved fear. These visons intrude on his quiet moments and threaten his grip on reality. As he mentors a new generation of students, Izuku struggles to reconcile his public image with his private torment, questioning whether he truly left All For One behind.Possibly out of character and heavy cannon divergence. After a mission with Eraserhead and a run-in with a sludge monster, what could the Commission actually do if he decided to be a hero? The answer: probably nothing. So that's what Izuku is going to do: be a hero.

Midoriya Izuku learned very quickly to not say anything, that being quirkless was enough of an issue to get him in trouble. Standing up for yourself just made people believe you were acting out, and standing up for others just made both sides hate you more. However, he couldn't stop helping people and he couldn't help the things that he could see. Sometimes it was better to just say nothing and to pretend you didn't see it in the first place. That is until he found this queer shop with this strange shop keeper and his two helpers. A shop that grants wishes and ones heart's desires, if he couldn't get a quirk then maybe...just maybe...they could help with his sight, maybe they could help him be normal. But being normal is vastly overrated.
