He woke up having slicked the sheets. So, she took him to the doctor and yup. Omega.
They gave him pamphlets and told him all about being an omega. The only thing different was he was male.
His first heat would probably hit him in a few months, as his body has to learn his new hormones. Plus he presented early.

They looked on in awe. Uraraka and Tsu had seen him at 100% when he fought Chisaki, but this was different. He was on a whole new level.
“…Midoriya…” Ida whispered to himself.
The fight at Jaku hospital changes course when Uraraka, Ida, and Tsu decide to follow after their classmates when they don't return. They witness Midoriya in his battle with Shigaraki, ultimately saving him, resulting in them eventually learning about One for All. They successfully stop Midoriya from running away...for now.

How the series would have progressed if the ending was not so rushed and some of the deeper themes around the corruption within hero society, the grey area between heroes and villains, and what it truly means to help people were fully explored. Slower and more earned uncovering of the previous wielder's quirks. Focus on Uraraka as main driver of the story (as she deserves).

“Yeah, yeah,” Katsuki acknowledges, leaning back farther. He pins Izuku with a searching look, one that Izuku cannot quite decipher, until he says, “But listen, I’m gonna beat this with you by my side, just like I beat everything else. Then I’m gonna beat you.”
Diverted, Izuku asks, “Beat me?”
Shrugging, Katsuki explains, “Yeah, you know, in age or whatever. I’ll outlive you, won’t make you watch me die again.”
“Are you saying you’ll outrun me,” Izuku wonders, oddly amused.
Doubtlessly recalling all of their back and forth over the years, each of them promising the other that they would always be running after each other, Katsuki smirks. “Yeah.”
