Aziraphale has been the Supreme Archangel for about 2 years now. Although he loves his position in Heaven, as he feels he finally makes a difference in the way things are going, he is burnt out. Things are not going in the way he expected.
But worse of all, he misses Crowley. He knows he might get in trouble for this, but he wants to see the demon once more, even if it might be the last time.

Canon up until the end of Season 2: Crushed and in denial, Crowley tries to sleep away the rest of this century. His dream self careens through alternative lives where he crosses paths with a very certain angel. He’ll assure you, though, there’s nothing ineffable about it.
(Or basically my way of coping with the finale, experimenting with lots of alternative universes, delving into Crowley's psyche, and giving them an eventual happy ending. All in one go.)

È risaputo: Aziraphale torna in Paradiso, lasciando solo Crowley sulla Terra a disperarsi (quelli disperati siamo noi fan dopo il finale della seconda stagione, comunque, ma meglio restare tra le parentesi). Ed è proprio il nostro angelo a sapere forse cosa fare una volta giunto là mentre l'Inferno cerca come al solito un modo per boicottare i piani divini.
Riusciranno i demoni a scoprire cosa bolle in pentola di nuovo lassù? E Aziraphale farà la scelta giusta o ci farà cadere le braccia (cosa che non vorremmo) come ha fatto negli ultimi 10 minuti dell'attuale episodio finale della serie?
Nel mentre Crowley cerca di non discorporarsi per l'alcool o qualche incidente (non?) voluto con la Bentley. O quantomeno ci prova.

Something he drank when he didn’t care about quality, only getting drunk as fast as possible.
Crowley looked bad. Aziraphale didn’t think he’d ever seen him with a hair out of place, and certainly never in dirty clothes and flip flops.
But there he was. The only familiar part of his attire had been his sunglasses.

September. This has now been re-edited, and with an additional chapter. Slightly confusingly, it's number 14, which isn't the current last chapter. It's only taken me 5 months for an update, so possibly makes it the longest fictional phone call ever.
Lucifer is constructing a playlist. It's a special, personal one, just for Crowley.
The Demon is alone, abandoned by Aziraphale when he chose to return to Heaven, and is in desperate need of a friendly face. Unfortunately for him, his toxic ex, Lucifer, is sniffing around. He is well aware of all his manipulative ways, but when his defences are already so low, it's very hard to keep saying no.
