Prisoners from the castle would serve as examples, beheaded in the center of Symbol to prove the subjugation of the territory. There was no one left to fight back. All the omega, all the children, had either died to the smoke and flames or were awaiting their eventual executions.
He smiled, a grotesque thing. Finally! Finally it all was his!

Katsuki resists the urge to flip over the banquet table he and Shouto are seated at, or crawl underneath it and tunnel into the rich earth below so he can escape the disaster that is about to come. “No.”
Even at the happy ending to his fairytale, Katsuki isn’t eager to share the story of how he and Shouto met.
