izuku and him pod were hurt and taken. he soon realized that they were only taken to get treated but his pod mate not his hatched one but the one he found couldn't be released. izuku and the permanently injured mers mate refused to leave him.

Shiny lights that practically blind Hizashi shine down on them, lights that he recognizes as the ones he got for Oboro a few months ago as a late birthday present, and he can clock the camera lens facing towards them, with the monitor lighting up in flurries.

His mother winced and Hitoshi knew the pair were up to something given what she says. "He's got a point, kid. I don't want to rush you, but maybe at least get a date for the wedding? Preferably with someone your age..."
Hitoshi smiled reassuringly at them.
"Which one of you bet your money I'd be bringing a date to my cousin's wedding?"
