Chapter Text
1:
Yuuki Rito thought he would’ve been a normal boy; he had a normal family. Even though his mother and father were out most of the time, leaving him and his little sister alone. Yet, yesterday changed everything. With bright pink hair and a voluptuous body came Lala Deviluke and his accidental confession.
Then there was Rias Gremory, with bright red hair and a seductive body, and his… Death before coming back to life as one of her servants.
Rito decided to let Lala and her sisters stay with him; he couldn’t kick them out, and who knows what’ll happen to them? Since they are all single, beautiful girls in their 14–15 age range. The twins, Nana and Momo, appear to be at least one year younger than their older sister.
Yet, morning arose, and within Rito’s room was a standard teenage boy’s room. He had manga and light novels on his bookshelf, and a soccer ball was on the ground. There were some games he had. His desk was meant for late-night studying, yet it barely sees any use. His bed was big, easily big enough to fit two people, but they would have to be close to each other. Nearly hugged each other to keep themselves from rolling off.
Rito felt something against him, soft as it pressed against his right and left sides. It felt a little tight this morning. Rito remembers back when he was young, when Mikan would crawl into his bed because of the lightning outside. That was so cute… Yet, when he woke up, it was too sexy.
Lala was completely naked; his rate of seeing a naked girl went from 0% to 30% rapidly. Seeing Lala, then Rias, then Lala again. How the light hits her soft skin as she stretches out her limbs. Allowing Rito to see everything. There was something on his other side as well—the long red hair and soft tits from Rias Gremory. Rito was a slice of ham between the two sexiest pieces of bread. Now that he thinks about it, that’s a weird way to put it.
His body moved backwards, his head slamming against the ground with a heavy thud. Lala tilted her head softly sideways. “Rito, what’s wrong?”
“It’s… Just that you’re naked… And…” Rito spoke,
“We’re engaged, and I need to sleep next to something.” Lala pointed out,
Rias yawned before smirking, pressing her body closer to Rito’s side. Seeing his flushed emotions was cute enough for her to tease.
Passing up on being just a teddy bear for Lala and Rias would be insane and a dream come true for any boy. Rito could still feel the warmth of her breasts against both of his arms. It was clear that she was a sheltered princess; despite her father currently pushing for her marriage, Lala most likely had zero interaction with the opposite sex outside of meeting what Rito had heard were ‘horrible’ fiancés.
“It would be wrong of me. To take advantage of you like this. We don’t know each other yet…” Rito spoke. Besides, there was someone else.
“Lala-sama,” a small robot’s voice spoke, gently shaking the young girl. Lala found herself having a hard time tearing her eyes off Rito. No one ever treated her this way; the fiancés all were lusting over her body, no matter how much older they were than she was. Yet, here was Rito, looking away. It was clear he was blushing, embarrassed by the situation. However, he was just a means to an end.
“Onee-sama,” Momo’s voice cried out as the door creaked open, “Rito-san, have you seen…” Her eyes drifted over to her older sister as a small grin appeared on her face. “I see… As my future brother-in-law, I wish you luck.”
“Hah! You filthy animal! You're already cheating on Ane-ue. You beast!” Nana cried out.
What? Wait, what luck? What did she mean? All she saw was Lala and Rias in his bed, completely naked and him wearing only his shorts because of yesterday’s hot night. And Nana has the wrong idea.
Now that Rito thought about it, yeah, people could think the three of them got busy right away. He is a healthy fifteen-year-old boy who had thoughts like of his own.
2:
School might be his only safe haven. Saying that, he remembers Rias Gremory’s words, “I’ll be sending someone over to get you.” The thought then crossed Rito’s mind. How many students aren't human?
He was sure that his friend Saruyama was human. But anyone else was a mystery. “Yuuki,” Koneko said, the mascot of Kuoh Academy. Rito couldn’t rule her out as being a human, since she’s in Rias’s Occult Research Club. If the pieces had to be close to Rias, then that would mean everyone in her club was a piece for her game board.
Including Koneko.
Yet, there was also a bigger problem on his hands: Haruna and the whole incident of accidentally getting engaged to another girl in front of her. “Yuuki, are you thinking about that penguin again?” She was pouting; it was cute.
“No, I mean, yes. Well, I met with Rias-Senpai yesterday. You know, the entire story is so crazy that you won’t believe me.”
Koneko nodded as she moved her head away. “But, on the bright side, I’m joining your club,” Rito spoke, despite them sitting close together. Rito leaned backward, as the gap between the two was always so big.
There was a horde outside; several of the first-year and second-year boys were all rushing through the hallways. They never acted like this, even with Rias Gremory. Well, they did when they first met her. And still do. It seems like there was another woman who stole the limelight as she walked. Boys were always lusting over any girl.
With her bright bubblegum pink hair and curvy figure, Rito’s expression dropped when he saw her. Lala Deviluke. He stopped to think about things right now. One: there’s no way Lala was the person Rias sent over to pick him up, meaning that she came to his school of her own free will. Second, it was to make sure that the news of them being engaged doesn’t see the light. Third, make sure no one finds out she’s an alien.
“Rito!” Lala’s voice rang; she stood out, not in a bad way. But still, someone on her level was eye-catching. She was just as stunning as girls like Rias Gremory and Himejima Akeno, meaning that overzealous boys who saw a super cute girl crying out another guy's name only meant death stares.
Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer to her cleavage. Lala’s breasts felt soft and squishy. They felt a little too squishy. Was she seriously not wearing a bra at all? Rito could’ve sworn he could feel those nipples pressing against him. His face got buried deeper into the cleavage of an incredible, ravishing teenage girl.
Rito looked over at everyone; they looked like they were out for blood. Eyes glowing red, like someone who had already met his death once before. Experiencing it again was not on his to-do list anytime soon.
“Now, now. Gentlemen. Calm yourself.” A male’s voice spoke up; his voice was calming to the ears, and it caused everyone to stop. “This fair maiden was lost. Yuuki-kun helped her out yesterday, and well, that’s it. Right time, right place.”
Kiba Yuuto. The Prince of Kuoh Academy—if there was anyone on every guy’s most-hated list, it was Kiba Yuuto. Being the only guy in the Occult Research Club meant he got to have his harem of Rias, Koneko, and Akeno. Not to mention, every girl found him attractive. Oddly enough, only Rito noticed this; the girls of the O.R.C. didn’t find him all that handsome, as the girls in his school did.
Moreover, Rito had no reason to hate the guy, since his crush, Sairenji Haruna, was on the small boat of ‘not interested’ in him.
He had short blonde hair and a toned body. “That young lady is my guest. Alongside, Yuuki-kun. Now, if you please, both come with me.” Kiba flashed his pretty boy smile, the one that caused all the girls to faint at the sight.
However, Rito only noticed now that he has two targets on his back. The boys are upset that a pretty girl pushed his head into her cleavage. And the girls who are upset that Yuuto Kiba personally came to get him.
Life was going to get rough.
3:
Occult Research Club, Yuuto Kiba led Rito and Lala to the building a few feet away from the main school. For an Occult club, they had the entire building for themselves. Rito knew it was because of Rias’s Devil faction, but still, wouldn’t people pry into unwanted business when jealous of something they wanted?
“Hello, dear Yuuki-kun, and you must be our little Succubus-chan,” Himejima Akeno spoke.
Now that Rito saw her, he could understand why the boys said that seeing Himejima steals one’s breath away. Her long, midnight-colored hair was tied in a ponytail, and her slender curves gave her perfect measurements for her bust, waist, and hips. The fact that she’s still single took the entire school by surprise.
Then, there became a race to see who could win Akeno’s heart first. So far, no one has won.
Lala was about to open her mouth before Rito grabbed her and dragged her over to the corner. He peeked over his shoulder to check if anyone was close before whispering into Lala’s ear.
“It’s best to keep the fact that you and your sisters are aliens a secret. I can’t trust Rias-senpai at the moment. Who knows what will happen if they find out? Let’s just go with what they say.” Rito spoke.
“Ara, ara. Is little Yuuki-chan conspiring against us?” Akeno spoke,
The sound of running water flowed around the room; it sounded close. Rito’s eyes wandered around as he could hear a voice purring out; it was Rias. “Don’t tease him, Akeno.”
The last member of the club, Koneko, came in, the last one to arrive, as she sat down. Her eyes trail towards Lala. Rias came out, wearing only a towel; it left nothing to the imagination. Her long red hair was damp as the water stuck to it. Rias sat down on her presidential chair. Furthermore, her slender legs crossed with each other, causing Rito to see almost everything.
“Umm… Rias-senpai…” Rito spoke, “Can you get change first?” He found it challenging to look anywhere. The ceiling was his haven.
“Fufu, first-name basis already, Rito-kun. Now, then, Lala, where do you come from?” It was a simple question, but a hard one to answer. Rias’s eyes were drawn to her, an unknown Devil, and her strength was powerful enough to drive back Fallen Angels.
Lala couldn’t say she was an alien, since Rito warned her about it just a few moments ago. Yet, she knew nothing about what they thought she was, a Succubus. Lala was truly stuck between a rock and a hard place. Despite her genius mind, that only came when creating something.
“Lala is a succubus; she and her sisters are fighting over who claims my first time for themselves. Unfortunately, she fell in love with me, and now she wants me to fall in love with her before having her way with me. And I want to be with the girl I like and be with her.” Rito was straight-up reading a manga summary. His dad’s manga.
He knew those like the back of his hand, so it was easy to remember and not to mess up. There was only one problem: what if any of these members had read that manga? Then, his story completely falls apart.
“Hmm… Not the first time it happened. Succubi don’t stay for long. But, you have sisters, Lala?”
“Yup, one year younger. They are twins, Momo and Nana.”
The only thing Rito needed to do was explain the plot of that manga for Lala, Momo, and Nana so the girls could follow it. Until it wasn’t needed anymore. He didn't plan on keeping Lala's Alien secret forever, only until the time felt right. Meeting Devils and telling them that Aliens exist… This was all crazy. Rias and the whole Devil making pacts with people seemed like they would understand aliens could exist. It is better to ease them into it first.
“Very well, that shall work for now. But first, a quick explanation of everything. You, Yuuki Rito, died. Because of that Sacred Gear in your left hand, and you got reborn as a devil, Koneko, Akeno, and Yuuto are all in the same boat.”
“In Devil families, things are based around chess, with the head of the family, in this case, me, acting like the King. Each one gets one Queen, two Knights, two Rooks, two Bishops, and eight Pawns.”
“If you're curious, I’m the Queen, Koneko-chan is a Rook, and Yuuto is a knight,” Akeno spoke up.
“Then, what does that make me?” Rito wondered,
“A pawn.” Rias quickly answered, which caused Rito to feel a crushing weight against his shoulders, since Pawns were stated to be the weakest pieces in chess.
“So, if you have eight Pawn pieces, there will be seven people like me?” Rito asked,
“The reason you’re my Pawn, Rito, is because the other pieces weren’t strong enough. I only have access to one Knight, Rook, and Bishop. The only way to save you was to use all eight of my Pawn pieces to bring you back.” Rias explained.
“Then, thank you. For saving me.” Rito bowed.
“How do promotions work? If Rito is a Pawn, then how can he become a Knight, Queen, Rook, or Bishop?” Lala asked, holding her chin. Do they have chess in space? That was all Rito was wondering.
“Excellent question. There are stray Devils, familiars like Rito or Yuuto who leave their King for greater ideals, or Priests, or even Fallen Angels. Whenever Rito enters one of these dens, he can promote to a class.”
It was just like chess. There was nothing special or beating around the bush about it. Meaning if Rito understood how chess worked, then there would be no problem. “Well, Rito will be the Next King of Deviluke. So he can't stay a Pawn forever!”
Rias’s head moved, Deviluke. That was the first time she heard that name; she had to guess it was Lala’s family name. There wasn’t a single demon called Deviluke in Hell. Nor a family that would be a King, or Rias would know about it. Her eyes locked onto Rito. He was a kind boy; she knew that much. The secret that Lala is hiding must be to protect her. Or he wouldn’t bother lying about it. How cute. Rias smiled.
“In rare cases, pieces have become Kings and gotten their pieces. It hasn’t happened in thousands of years, but if the next King of Deviluke is such a proud title, then maybe Rito could become a King. Then he could have his own personal harem.”
“Harem?!” Rito had a strange feeling he was going to be hearing that word again.
“Let me catch you up to speed. Fallen Angels manipulate humans to wipe out the Devils. Fallen Angels have fought for supremacy of the underworld since Ancient Times. What the Human realm calls Hell. There’s a three-way standoff when God sent his Angels to wipe out the Devils and Fallen Angels.”
“Yuuma Amano,” Rias spoke, that name causing Rito to lean back, hearing that name.
His senpai was always teasing him. Until she killed him, or at least stabbed him and damaged him enough to become a Devil. “Yuuma Amano wanted to kill you to ascertain whether there was something dangerous within you. However…”
Rias didn’t want to say how Amano might’ve liked Rito for real, since she was fighting the urge to kill the Human.
“We’ll take on duties tonight to show you the ropes,” Akeno spoke as the school bell chirped. “Meet back here every night around nine.”
“To explain a bit more, Scarred Gear, it’s a non-standard power that dwells within specific people. It’s said that many historic figures have possessed this power.” Akeno spoke; her voice was gentle and pleasing to the ears.
“Occasionally, there are even those who have enough power that they become a threat to devils or Fallen Angels. Rito, can you hold up your left hand, please?” Rias asked, and Rito nodded his head and held up his hand.
“Close your eyes, and think of something you feel to be the strongest.” That's what Rias asked him.
The strongest? Rito’s eyes were shut; he could picture Dinosaurs that once ruled the Earth or the myth of Dragons. Or hard bosses in RPGs. Yet, those pictures flew around his head, in his mindscape. He pictured manga heroes that could defeat anyone with a single punch or characters that were able to rebuild the universe. All those thoughts were clouding his mind. But those were all fictional and not what he saw as their true strength.
“I'm sorry, Rias-Senpai. I think of many strong things, but nothing that is the strongest…” Rito’s head lifted to be able to get a glimpse of what was hiding underneath her towel.
So many things were explained to him at once that he forgot that Rias was only wearing a towel. Rito’s head turned to slam straight into Lala’s chest. Before pushing back, “Umm… Sorry,” Rito panicked as he took off.
Koneko tilted her head as she pouted.
4:
The full moon hung in the rather cloudy sky; the streets felt haunted. Yet, Lala, next to him, only happily hummed to herself as she hugged herself closer to Rito. A pair of eyes was burning into him; Rito could feel a chill going down his spine.
Was this one of the Devil Hunters, like a Fallen Angel or a Stray Priest? Rito still didn’t know what the latter one even meant; he couldn’t help but look over his shoulder each time. Who was watching him? Why were they watching him?
He couldn’t even understand why he needed to do this. Summoning to form contracts with humans was something Devils needed to do, and if Rito and Lala are meant to be a pair. Then, they would have to do their contract together. Rito can’t teleport due to his Sacred Gear; meanwhile, Lala wasn’t even a true Devil.
So, they had to walk or ride Rito’s bike.
Yet, standing within the shadows, covered in a strange mist. He was a tall man, rather handsome as well; his skin was perfect. He had greyish hair and blue eyes. Furthermore, he’s wearing demonic-like armour with a dark purple cape that reaches down to his feet. The sword in his hand seemed to glow a neon blue, pointing it at Rito.
“Human, I challenge you in combat. For Lala-sama.”
Lala hid behind Rito, her fingers gripping onto his shirt. He could hear her muttering. “Not him,” repeatedly. This only meant that this being was one of Lala’s evil fiancées. But Rito looked at his hand.
His Sacred Gear, but for what it did, was something unknown to him. Plus, how does a fight between an Alien vs. a new Devil even work? He doesn't know his powers. Moreover, he’s never been in a fight. But Rito could feel Lala tugging on his shirt, her body trying to pull away from everything.
So, he wouldn’t back down. Rito stared at his left hand when he needed to think of something that was the strongest. Nothing came to mind. “My name is Zastin.” His photon sword easily sliced through an empty car. Almost like it was a hot knife through butter.
“Lala, get somewhere safe. I promise I’ll protect you. No loser creep is going to touch you!”
He talked a big game, but Rito could only run; he had to wonder if Rias could sense if he was in danger. Since Zastin was after Lala, adding another girl to the mix would cause problems. Yet, Zastin’s sword cleanly cut through anything; the road was sliced clean in half, and the tree behind Rito fell over with a loud thud. The ringing in his ears was deafening. One hit from that, and it was over.
Well, that is what Rito thought, at least, until a dog bit Zastin’s leg. He still felt pain, even through all that armor. How? Zastin looked defeated before proud. “We…” The rustling of a train, a late-night non-stop train, blocked out some of what Zastin was going to say. “But our armour is light due to our strength. My King can destroy your planet with a single finger.”
There was a being like that outside, somewhere in the solar system. Rito tried to picture it, the power to destroy planets; it felt real. It felt like the power was rushing through his left hand. If only Zastin hadn’t cut his train of thought off, then maybe Rito could’ve unlocked his Sacred Gear.
Yet, there were things Rito knew that Zastin didn't. He was new to this planet. Potentially, he was like a normal tourist and didn’t study up on the place he was visiting. Neither did Lala nor her sisters. Rito could only grin as he ran; it was his best skill. He was good at soccer as a kid. Not only that, but he keeps himself in alright shape, going out for runs, eating his sister's meals, which he was missing.
‘Please come back soon, Mikan.’ The thoughts of Rito begging are echoing in his head.
Zastin was right on his tail until Rito stopped. Zastin looked exhausted as he held his head high. “Tired of running, boy?”
“No, it’s just time for the Seven O’Clock.” Zastin didn’t know what that meant until a train ran and hit him. His body fell to the ground. There wasn’t a single scratch on his body. It seems like no one noticed him either.
So, that was good. No weird news this morning.
But Zastin got up, “What are you doing to my Pawn?” Rito froze, knowing Rias’s voice was speaking out as she stood in the air, her devil wings out, standing right on top of Rito. Allowing the boy to see right up her skirt.
Zastin didn’t flinch. “A match, Lala-sama and her younger sisters… Need to return home.”
Rito and Rias blinked in surprise. Lala, Momo, and Nana were just runaways? It seems like that with how Lala smacked Zastin in the chest. He was unfazed by her punches. “All my father will do is force me to wed someone I don’t even love! I’m sick of these suitors. Most of them are perverts.”
Rias’ eyes widened as Rito’s hand clenched; his thoughts drifted over to Haruna. The girl he was in love with. “Papa cares far more about that successor junk than I do!” He heard Lala and Zastin fighting over each other.
He was used as a tool. Sure, Lala was ridiculously cute; the thought of the two of them getting married did make Rito’s heart race.
“Enough! Let me have a normal life. I've heard enough of this ‘married to someone you don’t even like’ crap!! Just let me live my life the way I want to live it!”
Lala and Rias’ eyes were locked onto those words, ‘live my life the way I wanted to live it.’ Rito's eyes were closed, his face was bright red, and he screamed louder than ever in his life. As his head turned upwards. He could see Lala’s blushing face.
“You know, I think I do want to marry you after all, Rito.”
Huh?
5:
Momo Deviluke smiled gently, yet that smile didn’t reach her ears. “So, Onee-sama. You decided to marry Rito-san for real?” She phrased this as a question, since the original plan had nothing to do with the Earthling.
Lala happily nodded her head. “Yup, I talked it out with Rias, and she’s fine with it as long as Rito doesn’t get too distanced,” the oldest sister hummed.
“Huh, that animal has another girl on the side. Is he forming a pride? You have to break up with him; all men are evil!” Nana cried out, trying to be the voice of reason.
Lala tapped her chin, remembering Rito’s words. “Rito isn’t like that. But I want him to fall for me. I think you two would like him too; just don’t fall in love with him as well.”
Nana huffed, turning her head. “I would never go after one of my Ane-ue” [means Big Sister]
“You don’t have to worry about me, Onee-Sama,” Momo commented; unbeknownst to her, she would end up breaking this first.
It was morning, and as Zastin and the men in suits cheered for Rito’s and Lala’s engagement, Lala bade him farewell. As if Rito were already her husband. Yet, the thoughts are racing through his mind.
‘First, I’m Rias Pawn, then I become Lala’s fiancée. I haven’t even explained to Haruna about all of this. School isn’t a place of peace because of Rias, and home has Lala. How am I meant to explain all of this to Mikan? She’ll kill me!’
Yet, Rito looked over his shoulder, seeing her wearing her bright red dress, having those black and red stockings reaching up to her slender thighs. Her pink hair is tied in two twintails, making her look like a classic Tsundere in anime and manga. The more Rito looked at Nana, he noticed that she, Momo, and Lala only had a single outfit. He should take them shopping soon for more clothes.
After Nana saw him sleeping next to a naked Lala and Rias. “I’m keeping an eye on you, an animal in heat,” Nana spoke, her twintails moved up as she wiggled her hands. “You’re the closest in line to become my brother-in-law and the next King of Deviluke. I gotta make sure my sister isn’t making bad choices!”
That was the reason she was following him to school. People might get the wrong idea about the two of them. Nana was Lala’s little sister and Momo’s twin. He had no clue what to say to her.
The fountain in the park brought back bad memories whenever Rito saw it. A small black cat meowing reached his ears. Nana watched him as Rito climbed the tree, picking up the stray black cat. The cat let out a small meow before running away.
“Thanks for your help; I shall remember this favour to repay you. Farewell for now.” Nana spoke, and Rito turned to her; the confusion on his face was clear.
“Right, I can talk to animals, and my twin Momo can talk to plants. Lala didn’t get any special powers, but her strength is closest to our Papa's.” Nana explained, and she quickly looked away.
“You can talk to animals?” Nana closed her eyes; she had heard it all before. It was freaking how she could talk to them; she and her sister never got the limelight. This was a gift that she wanted to hide. Her body felt like it was shaking. Why should she care about what this animal thinks of her?
“That’s so awesome! You’re amazing, Nana!” Rito spoke as he held onto her soft hands. “I’m so jealous. I wish I could talk to animals. I bet you have a ton of cute, fluffy friends.” Rito spoke, and Nana’s face flushed, as she had never heard these words outside her family.
Yuuki Rito really is a womaniser, an animal in heat.
They were broken up when a cute squeak reached the eardrums of Rito and Nana. Rito let go of Nana’s soft hands. Rito was far too flustered to look Nana in the face; she’s cute, a different type from Lala. A childish type of cuteness, only to be greeted by the sight of a round butt, with soft white panties. His face burned up, almost exploding. His hands reached back, his palms pressing against the flatness of Nana’s chest.
A round lump on his head as Nana punched him for groping her chest,
“How did I manage to fall?” Her voice sounded cute after recovering from the punch, and no matter how flustered he was, Rito went up to the girl. It was the right thing to do, and he couldn’t let her stay like that.
“Can I help you, umm…” Rito wondered as he held out his hand.
She had emerald eyes and bright blonde hair. She gently smiled at Rito, “Thank you, I’m Argento Asia.” She introduced herself.
